Three Attraction Marketing Strategies for a Tough Economy

February 21st, 2010 by Andrea Conway

John F. Kennedy\‘s statement \“A rising tide lifts all boats\” perfectly describes the boom years of the economy. Throughout the \‘00s you really didn\‘t have to do much to have an OK business. But what about in today\‘s receding tide? Fortunately the recession won\‘t take all boats down with it — only the leaky ones. Use attraction marketing to build your business, especially in tough times. Start with these three strategies.

#1 Be in touch with your clients and prospects frequently.

Contact everyone on your email list once a week at least. Remember, though, it\‘s not only about selling. Customers find value in tips, useful information, articles etc. Sometimes business owners worry about sending too many emails — they are afraid people will leave their list. If your messages have value, people like to hear from you. Except for those who most likely would never have bought. Frequent email contact actually strengthens your attraction marketing.

If you have physical addresses, mail a postcard every 4 – 8 weeks. Promote a customer appreciation sale. Offer a free consultation. Send people to your website for a free special report, an article, a video of you using your product, or a tip sheet.

Post on Facebook and Twitter regularly. Aim for one Facebook post and 1 Tweet every day at the beginning. Granted, social networking can sometimes be confusing at the beginning. I recommend you create your accounts and simply observe for a while. When you do start posting, keep in mind the #1 rule of social networking: it\‘s not about selling something, it\‘s about relating to people. You\‘ll soon get the hang of it.

Don\‘t have a mailing list at all? Start building one. Right now. A mailing list is one of the essential assets of any small business — it\‘s the foundation for much of your attraction marketing. Writing articles — like the one you\‘re reading right now — is a great way to begin.

#2 — Be innovative with your products and services. It\‘s time to shake things up and look for ways to add value to your typical offerings.

If you\‘re a coach, add teleseminars or digital products to your offerings. If you sell products, add coaching or training that helps people use what you sell. If you offer a service, such as pet-siting or office cleaning, create a tip sheet or simple newsletter. When you stand out from the crowd you\‘re attractive to customers — in any economy.

Team up with other businesses for mutual leverage. Think of the neighborhood wine shop creating a wine-tasting evening with cheese and crackers from the gourmet food store around the corner. Or take a gallery that sells artwork — like the one my life partner owns. He sells custom framing that\‘s outsourced to a framer a few miles away.

Online businesses can also use leverage. I created an audio set on Law of Attraction marketing from a series of interviews with other attraction marketing experts. It only took 6 interviews to create a product. Everyone who participated in the interviews promoted the product to our mailing lists. Talk about the power of leverage! Make a list of experts you could interview to create a valuable collection of interviews your customers would want to own.

#3 — Use your personality when you promote! Luckily for us small business owners, we aren\‘t required to act distant, like the typical large corporation. Thank goodness! It\‘s possible to be quirky (but business-like) — and it\‘s a lot of fun. Open up and tell your customers that you spend weekends riding your Honda Gold Wing. Talk about your favorite charity, the local animal shelter. Or express your enthusiasm for restoring antique furniture. It\‘s great to write about your vacation, your parakeet, your hometown, your kids.

In every marketing promotion, express your passion for your business. Tell people why you\‘re in this business and how much you care about it. You can also develop short, interesting stories — customers appreciate knowing you, and stories create powerful connections. During a down economy, people seek out friends to do business with. Attraction marketing includes expressing who you are.

Tips: 1) Respect the line between being open and over-revealing your personal life. 2) Stay away from political, religious or other viewpoints that might create controversy. 3) Use personality in moderation — think of it as a side dish or condiment. Keep the attention of your customers squarely on the main course: your business.

Leverage Your MLM In Malaysia

December 4th, 2009 by Aaron Chen

The Multi Level Marketing industry or more commonly known as MLM in Malaysia has been around for a long time. It hit Malaysia very hard in the 70s and grew slowly over time and has become very wide spread here. There are good points and bad points about this business but the fact remains that it has gone from a “aunty” and “uncle” business to a house wife business in a short amount of time. The reason is because of the ability to earn especially in a country where the average salary is only a few thousand ringgit.

In today’s market, there are young corporate professionals who are flocking to this market because of the potential to earn. I mean, who doesn’t want to work from home and be their own boss? Plus it really is a chance to get out of the corporate rat race and really earn some good money. Also this process has accelerated as the newer MLM company’s have come out with compensation plans that can really reward its agents for the work being done.

In fact, the MLM industry has the potential to create more millionaires than any other industry in the world. Unfortunately however, the one thing that hasn’t changed is the way that most Malaysian’s are being trained on how to do the business. The first thing you will learn when you join your MLM company is that you need to speak to all your friends and family. They ask you to make a list of everyone you know. Your uncle, your aunty, your maid, your postman, your gardener, your gym instructor, your chicken rice man. You get the idea. Once you run out of people you know, you are told to make flyers, prospect in shopping malls, buy leads online, cold call bad numbers. Sound familiar?

It should, because I went through this entire process myself. And you know what? I hated it! Because unless you are a super sales person with amazing people skills, it is very unlikely that you will be successful using these methods. In fact, the failure rate is 97% and is based on traditional methods of networking in this business.

So what is the solution? Well, first of all, if you want to be successful in this business you need to forget about hassling your friends and family. Instead you need to leverage tools like the internet so that you can truly have a home business and market to a massive group of people instead of the finite number in your town or city. You will also need to learn how to MARKET your business so that you can “attract” people towards you instead of prospecting where you are always doing the “chasing”. It is time to start using current methods to attract today’s prospects instead of old school methods that just aren’t that effective anymore.

Aaron Chen is a successful MLM coach based in Kuala Lumpur who trains people how to bring their MLM business online by leveraging the Internet. Direct Network Marketing — How to Coach Your Downline

November 9th, 2009 by Todd Gleason

The biggest critical success factor in any direct network marketing opportunity is the ability to build a productive downline. Many direct network marketing companies tout their training programs but believe me most are completely inadequate or outdated for today’s business environment.

After being in this business for some time now, two things have become abundantly clear. First, you have to dispel the fact that your downline doesn’t have to do anything to make money. Hopefully your company doesn’t sell itself on “the easy road to riches” or “our product sells itself.” But if it does, be honest and give your new members a realistic view of what it is going to take to make money. This will let you quickly weed out those who will never succeed from those who are willing to work to get their business started.

The next thing you want to do is provide them with a realistic step by step approach to follow based on what you have done to be successful. This is that often talked about “duplication” effort. Building a roadmap for them based upon what you know has worked for you, will go much farther than some general training program on how to build a downline that the company might provide.

Here’s what I have done for my downline in the past. I’ve built a step by step program for them to follow. I’ve found that you have to have a web presence for any kind of success in direct network marketing today. So I laid out a detail approach of how to get a website up and running. This included how to register a domain name, how to find a good hosting service, what tools to use to build the content itself (e.g. how to install Wordpress) and how to build meaningful content based on keyword research.

I laid out a complete approach for getting traffic and list building. I showed them how and why list building is so critical to having a meaningful presence on the web. I showed them what it takes to start branding themselves as someone to trust and follow. Next, I laid out an approach for email marketing and how to go about promoting the direct network marketing opportunity to build their own downline.

I explained how becoming an affiliate marketer would provide multiple streams of income in addition to the business opportunity they were promoting. I showed them another reason for building a list and establishing a trusted relationship with their subscribers.

If you look at this approach and say to yourself — “that takes a lot of time and effort” — you’re right. It took time and effort to put the program together the right way. But believe me it was worth it. Once it was together it could be delivered by autoresponder to everyone who joined my team. Any questions were handled by email. Additional material was available on my website or I pointed them to some specialized training that I had used and found very helpful in specific areas. This is a worthwhile effort that will pay for itself very quickly. Try it and you’ll be able to provide valuable coaching to your downline.

How to Recognize a Good Direct Network Marketing Opportunity

November 8th, 2009 by Todd Gleason

If you are ever told you can make money with an opportunity and you don’t have to sell anything or the product “sells itself,” look for another opportunity. Let’s face it, how does a company or one of its distributors make any money without selling a product or service? Unfortunately most opportunities promote themselves as easy money. They’re trying to attract the hoards of people out there looking for easy money in the hope that they’ll get a few who will turn into real super stars for the business. Look for companies that tell a realistic story about the work it takes to get a business started and what it takes to achieve success.

One of the things that I have always found annoying was the fact that in order to find out the details of some opportunities, you had to spend $40 or $50 on a “start-up kit” to get any information other than how great an opportunity it is. Any opportunity that’s worth anything should let you get all the details before requiring and monetary commitment. The best opportunities will allow you to join for free.

I have found the best direct network marketing opportunities provide both multiple products and multiple streams of income. By this I don’t mean multiple tiers of commission payments. I mean multiple ways to earn income in the program. This could include commission overrides on your personally sponsored downline, product sales to non-members, shares of company sales, etc. Look around. There are some very lucrative opportunities out there. But don’t think it comes with little or no work.

Training and support are all things to think about and you want them to be provided — the more the better. But avoid those opportunities that do everything for you. Many will provide replicated websites as a way to get you started quickly. It will get you started quickly, but at what cost. These sites that hundreds of other people are promoting DO NOT WORK! You need to have your own web presence to brand yourself.

Certainly you want to be associated with a company that is going to be around for a while. The best way to judge that is to look at its track record. A company should have been around for at least 5 years and ideally 10 or more.

Take some time to choose wisely. It will benefit you in the long run — unless of course you are looking for that easy money opportunity. Then just take the first one that you see promising riches overnight.

Direct Network Marketing — Best Source of Targeted Leads

October 28th, 2009 by Todd Gleason

Finding targeted leads is the life blood of any direct network marketer. But the times have changed in the network marketing business. It is getting more difficult everyday to find a continuing supply of good qualified leads. Traditionally many network marketers have bought lead lists. But unfortunately many times these are rehashed leads that have grown cold over time. Most contact information on these lists becomes outdated and many people forget they even signed up to receive information on business opportunities.

If you’re tired of beating your head against the wall trying to get these prospects to convert, there is a better way. It is a way that has good qualified prospects coming to you rather than you searching to find them. You need to start today to become an internet marketer. Doing this is essential to your survival in today’s increasingly competitive direct network marketing environment.

If you don’t have a website, go and get one right now. It only costs about $10 to register a domain name for a year — sometimes less. Start branding yourself. People join a person they know and trust; not a network marketing company by itself.

You want to have people find your message or offer on the web who want to find out more about it. This is the best source of targeted leads. These are people who interested and ready to join your opportunity. You will have a much higher conversion rate with these people than trying to generate interest from a list of cold emails that purchased from somewhere.

Once you have your website you’ll need to start generating traffic. There are basically two types of traffic — paid and free. I would recommend you start with the free traffic sources. It will take a little longer but it will be a lot less expensive.

You want to get your website ranked high in the search engines (e.g. on first page of Google) so your message is seen by people searching for business opportunities. You’ll need to do some research to find out what keywords people are searching on. You’ll want to build your website around these keywords and other related keywords to get ranked.

You’ll want to eventually build your own list of people that you can directly market to. This will become the greatest asset of your business. These people will join your list because they are interest in what you have to offer. Think about it. When you sponsor people into your network marketing opportunity, that list belongs to the company. Many organizations have very strict rules about what you can and can’t do with your downline. The company goes away and your list goes away. Protect it.

Build a long term asset — your list — outside of any one specific business opportunity. If you do that you’ll generate high quality targeted leads for your current opportunity and a readymade list for other business opportunities and services that you might want to offer.

Magnetic Sponsoring Review — Magnetically Attract New Prospects To You

October 26th, 2009 by Amir Shkolnik

In the world of work, everyone gets used to the job they do and often have trouble picking up something new when asked to. Your mind gets used to doing one thing for a long period of time and has a difficult time transitioning to something new when necessary.

When it comes to network marketing, there is no difference at all. Network marketers everywhere are having trouble learning how to implement the new marketing tactic to create attraction marketing online.

The Internet was used to lay out the foundation of Magnetic Sponsoring.

It’s tempting to fall back on the old school methods of marketing that have been used for years and years. That seems to be an ongoing problem these days. Even though Magnetic Sponsoring has been proven to help a struggling network marketer get his or her business up and running, they don’t seem to understand how to use it.

Attraction Marketing Online — If you are looking to either get your business up and running, or take from a struggling status to a status of profit, you will need to know the right marketing strategies. Learning how to enhance your business by using simple techniques is the key to you having successful attraction marketing online.

If you are unaware that there is a new web 2.0 that has been released then you should check it out. This is very influential to many marketers that take things like Wikidot, hub pages, Twitter, YouTube and Squidoo and post them to selective audiences. You also should try social bookmarking to use as another piece to your puzzle.

Something that is becoming extremely popular is video marketing. This allows you to reach out to many other people who may be in the same line of business or looking for your services. You can provide tutorials, and maybe talk to some people about how they feel about this type of marketing. This will give you a lot of new reputation to build on from there.

Using these kinds of marketing strategies can make your online marketing business much more successful. Every online marketer needs to take the time to learn the newest tricks of the trade and then apply them to their marketing campaigns.

Generating Network Marketing Leads List — Online Vs. Offline Methods

October 23rd, 2009 by Amir Shkolnik

If you choose to follow old and offline methods, you are putting yourself at a disadvantage from the start. The idea is to attract thousands of targeted Network Marketing Leads at a time, instead of one at a time.

These leave you with the ultimate question; would you prefer to target 1 prospect or 1000 at any given time?

One of the biggest advantages of attracting many people at once, is the ability to grow your business rapidly. You won’t have to deal with random people. Instead, people will be coming to you. This is a huge benefit that saves you lots of time and accelerates your path to success.

Network Marketing Leads that are Targeted

You could practice offline tactics 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and still not come close to achieving the results you can expect with online strategies. Additionally, you will find yourself working three or four times harder.

What exactly is the difference? In addition to the number ratios we wrote about earlier, the people you attract will all be different. For example, while doing your network marketing prospecting online, you may spot and individual at the service station and strike up a conversation with them. There’s a pretty good chance that this person has no interest in what you have to offer. On the other hand, when you prospect online, your promotional tactics will be able to attract very targeted network marketing leads.

The truth is that you will be able to reach out to thousands of interested prospects at any time. To reap these benefits you will have to be willing to abandon your old style of marketing and become familiar with this new method.

Another benefit to gathering network marketing leads is you will never have to purchase another list of leads and call each of them on the phone. Due to a variety of factors, this method is nearly worthless these days.

Internet Network Marketing — What Does a Network Marketer Need?

* You need a website to attract targeted network marketing prospects

* In order to build strong relationships with your prospects you will need a dedicated blog

* You will attract 1000’s of prospects at one time when you learn to utilize Web 2.0 methods.

* Take advantage of video and article marketing to promote yourself and your business

* Build and constantly update a list of prospects that you can advertise your business to and generate cash flow on the front end.

* Determine how to target leads that will contact you instead of the other way around.

One of the greatest advantages to gathering targeted network marketing prospects is knowing they will be receptive to your messages. This will nearly eliminate the chance of rejection. The process of building a business should be enjoyable, and with the new methods of today it’s certainly possible.

Ardyss International Body Magic Business Review

October 22nd, 2009 by Lawrence Tam

Who doesn’t want a perfect body structure? A well-shaped body with a flat stomach is what everyone desires. Ardyss International has come up with shaping solutions that enable people to attain the perfect figure they want. Not just this; the company also offers to shape up customers’ purses by giving them the opportunity to earn by promoting the products. So if you are a rep with the company or planning to become one, read on to know more about the company, the income potential and the challenges involved.

Ardyss International — About

Ardyss International was started in 1989 in Mexico by the Diaz De Leon Family. In 2007, the company switched over its mode of selling to network marketing and moved its headquarters to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ardyss Key Products

- Reshaping — The Ardyss Body Magic, the main product of this company, has been designed by an Orthopaedic Surgeon to offer reshaping solutions. This is a range of reshaping garments that are alleged to change the body structure to hide unwanted bulges and make the user look attractive. This is like a mold that alters the body shape to look better. — Le’Vive Juice — This is a popular anti-oxidising syrup that’s made of five fruits. It offers several nutritional benefits. — Other merchandise offered include cosmetics, skin care and health care products.

The Ardyss Business

- Entry fees ranges between membership charges to 9 powerpack fees. — Business reps earn by buying products at wholesale prices and selling them at a maximum profit of 40% at MRP. — The company offers many other bonuses and perquisites to consistent performers and recruiters.

The Ardyss Body Magic Advantage

The home business offers attractive products that satisfy customer requirements. Low entry costs combined with high retail percentages make the income opportunity more attractive. New reps also benefit from the training offered by the company and the support. Ardyss International has been around for over 20 years and is a good name to work for.

Why Not Ardyss?

In spite of the good quality, high-demand products, only a few distributors in The home business earn really good incomes. For the remaining majority, this business serves only as a supplementary source of income. The reasons? Like other MLM companies follows the conventional network marketing model to market its products through reps. The Power of Five, as propagated by The opportunity requires you to contact five people you know and get them to buy the products and join the business as reps. The cycle of meeting friends, getting leads and following up could keep going only till an extent; after this most of the leads you follow will be of no use.

AmeriSciences Home Business Review

October 20th, 2009 by Lawrence Tam

There has been a revolution in the health market in recent years and the growth rate of the health industry is projected at 500% over the next eight years!People have come to understand that health can no longer be taken for granted and are willing to spend towards keeping fit and in good physical condition to achieve well in life.AmeriSciences was started to attend to this requirement by selling nutrient rich products that promote good health. This is an MLM company that offers customers an option to earn back their money and much more.

Here?s a short appraisal of the company and your earning potential as a distributor.

? AmeriSciences ? An Intro

Founders

Barry Cocheu along with Steven Radman and Lou Gallerdo established the company AmeriSciences in 2000. The company was based a Houston, Texas.

Products

The products offered can be grouped according to their benefits as under ? beauty, men?s health, oral sciences, preventative nutrition, sports and fitness, weight loss and women?s health. The company claims its nutraceutical supplements are made to follow strict quality controls.. AmerScience vitamins are derived from tested pure ingredients and are manufactured with the user?s interests in mind.

? The AmeriSciences Business

Five digit incomes every month, luxury cruises to Alaska and luxury cars ? at least this is what?s advertised on the AmeriSciences website. It?s easy to get tempted by all this and join as a distributor. But when we get to the actual work, we need to think if all this is really achievable. The fact that the products are qualitative is alone not enough to get customers; there are lots of barriers in promoting expensive health products.

The company will teach you to promote the products to people you know and get them to join as distributors. This is easier said than done and it?s definitely not sufficient to get you the amazing perks advertised in the website.

? Conclusion

The products offered by AmeriSciences are qualitative and good; but you?ll need to match them with people who need those products to earn well. The right marketing techniques should bring you in contact with people who are in real need of your products. Start your own online AmeriSciences business, promote the products using new and effective internet marketing tools and see the profits flow in.There?s tremendous demand for nutritional products, especially those dealing with skin care and weight loss. Just initiate your online venture and you?ll see the results in almost no time.

Facebook — Three Ways To Build A Business

August 31st, 2009 by Lawrence Tam

Confusion on building your MLM business?

Are you happy with your results in your network marketing company?

3 No Cost ways to grow your primary business in Facebook is to be a REAL marketer.

1. Get a Real Picture of You

I’m not talking about an avatar image. Most users think that you can include a cute image of your own goods and that will help you on Facebook. Some might like your fancy car you have on your site, but how does that really build a connection with business minded people? You must brand your own image onto their heads.

What makes you unique from every other business out there? Don’t fool yourself.

2. Set Your Region

Reps don’t know you can set a location for yourself in Facebook. Many users glance over this because they are a global reps. You are holding back on yourself in the foot if you don’t let yourself be sought after. Why would you want to block people from finding you? Isn’t part of business building about having ways for people to find you easily? You want to be searchable by people who want your product or service.

3. Complete Out Your Bio

Way too many users only put a tiny bit of info on it. Makes it seem like you are hiding. People want to network with people they know. It’s difficult to do that if you got a image of a cat and you have no clue to what they do in their spare time. Even worse, you don’t even know what they do professionally. You should put down where you work.

Business Conducted With Facebook, Really? Of course!

There are many simple ways to promote your business using Facebook. Massive traffic can be found on Facebook if worked correctly. Building your network business can be as simple as using methods like these.

Lawrence Tam has brought the best out of hundreds of Internet Marketers by helping them create wealth for their own network marketing business.
