A Non Distributor Review of World Ventures

October 31st, 2009 by Ellie Gant

World Ventures became known publically on December 10, 2005. Launched from the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, it soon became a recognized name in the MLM world. To date the company has done over $150 million in sales.

The company sells Dream Trip packages. Members pay a once occuring fee, then a small monthly charge. They pick from the vacations World Ventures offers. The company claims members usually save enough on the first two trips it makes up for the fees. The company also sells a package that allows members to be able to sell Dream Trips on their own website.

The LTC package makes members Leisure Travel Consultants, who then are authorized to sell Dream Trips and LTC packages on a custom website. LTCs are paid when they book travel through their website, and also when they recruit more LTCs. The company tells its LTCs to promote this website inside their circle of freinds and family. This is not stellar marketing advice.

Instead of marketing their websites to people they know, they should be taught to market to everyone researching travel on the internet. It is a common problem with MLM companies, unfortunately. The people trying to sell their products are never really trained as marketers, get lackluster results, and become yet another disappointed person who bad-mouths multi-level marketing, convinced it?s all a scam.

People who have a successful network marketing business going are usually very skilled marketers. They are often successful in other areas of sales as well. Many people are making full time money by using their marketing knowledge to sell products and services to people who need them. Many lives have been changed when they were taught sound marketing ideas. Most skilled marketers don’t limit themselves to just selling MLM products.

People can learn marketing by getting a college degree, by experimenting and reading marketing books, and by taking an online marketing course. There are quite a few advantages to taking the marketing course.

The first is, people don’t have to figure it out all by themselves, through trial and error. They have people who know what they’re doing teaching them. Second, there are no core curriculum requirements with online marketing courses. Just the marketing education, and for way less than a four year degree costs.

In review, World Ventures is an upstanding company, but the marketing advice they give to their members is not sufficient to give their members a real understanding of how to get the most out of their custom travel websites.

World Ventures Information: The Real Deal

October 30th, 2009 by Ellie Gant

The internet is full of World Ventures information, a lot of it is negative and unsubstantiated talk. The truth is, World Ventures is a network marketing company that was created in December of 2005. They sell discount travel, and allow members to become travel re-sellers and earn commissions.

The two products offered by World Ventures are the Dream Trip, and the LTC package. Dream Trip is a membership that allows members to buy the discount vacations. LTC stands for Leisure Travel Consultant.

LTC memberships give people the right to call themselves Leisure Travel Consultants. They can sell World Ventures travel through their website, and they can recruit new members to become LTCs. These people are not licensed travel agents, they are only authorized to book travel packages that World Ventures offers. If they continue with the company, they can become Booking Travel Agents and eventually Travel Reservation Specialists. These are company designations, they still do not make members regular travel agents.

People are usually exposed to World Ventures information by attending seminars held in restaurant meeting rooms and hotel ballrooms. First they are told about the travel opportunity, then they are told about how to become an LTC and earn extra money. When they sign up to be LTCs, they are told to market their World Ventures website to people they already know, like friends and family.

MLM is looked down on by many people. Many people know someone who is always trying to sell the newest network marketing products and opportunities. So many of these people are enthusiastic for a while, but they soon get discouraged when they can’t sign up people for the programs.

The tragedy is, if only these people learned to market effectively, they wouldn?t be limited to only promoting MLM ventures. They would be able to sell anything to anyone, and they would be able to take advantage of many superior forms of compensation, like affiliate commissions and programs that pay individual commissions directly into a person?s PayPal account.

The ability to market to people effectively is a powerful tool that can be used in all areas of a person?s life, not just online marketing. Knowing how to sell can mean success in face to face sales, and in promoting personal business websites. Marketing knowledge is a tool that a person can put into use every single day, for the rest of their lives.

Put all the World Ventures information that can be found to good use. Instead of learning their version of marketing, get a real marketing information course instead. Then decide if network marketing is really what you want to sell.

Distributors: World Ventures Meetings Information

October 28th, 2009 by Ellie Gant

Thanks to the internet, it is very easy to find a World Ventures Meeting near your location. A simple search engine query will turn up meeting after meeting, in locations from Florida, to West Virginia, to Arizona. People are eager to get the word out about World Ventures and its opportunities.

Two products are sold by World Ventures. Dream Trips is a discount travel membership, allowing people to book discount travel, and the LTC package lets people sell Dream Trips on their website. LTC stands for Leisure Travel Consultant. LTCs are not licensed travel agents, they are only given that title through the company.

At a World Ventures meeting you will learn all about the two products, as well as some facts about the travel industry in general. World wide, people spend 8 trillion dollars on travel every year. Attendees are told that all they have to do is put up a website and start getting some of that money.

Even though the travel industry is enormous, it is highly competitive, and it competes on price. A custom website and some video tutorials on marketing are not going to give you the tools you need to succeed. To top it off, people are encouraged to have people they already know visit the site, and sign up under them. No wonder people get so down on MLM.

Unless you want to rent hotel ballrooms and restaurant meeting rooms and do presentations yourself, your internet marketing career may be over before it really gets started. That is, unless you want to get some training, so you can compete in the online marketplace.

Today individuals can learn marketing over the internet, from real marketing experts. Students can work the classes around a job, or around taking care of the kids. Most important, you won’t have to try to get everyone you know to visit your silly travel site. You’ll learn how to market your website to everyone surfing the web.

You will never be restricted to just selling MLM once you learn how to be a marketer. You can sell affiliate products, or even learn how to make a living promoting the websites of local businesses. There are literally hundreds of ways to get paid with marketing, once you have the skills.

My advice is to stay away from the World Ventures meeting, and go straight to a marketing education program. Invest a little time and a little money, and you will have a skill you can use for the rest of your life, that no one can ever take away from you.

Before you jump into bed with ANY company, get the full scoop on World Ventures. The whole story is in our World Ventures Review at OnlineMLMSecrets.com. You can get a unique content version of this article from the Uber Article Directory.

World Ventures Distributor: Make Some Money and Vacation in Style

October 20th, 2009 by Ellie Gant

Regular Joe’s can be a World Ventures Distributor, all they have to do is get membership in the company. An LTC membership gives a person “Leisure Travel Consultant” status, allowing them to book travel for World Ventures.

Distributors are recruited very often by seminars held in hotels and restaurants with meeting facilities. People get to see the benefits of being travel club members, then are sold on the idea of reselling those packages to others. People who want to make some extra money often sign up.

A World Ventures distributor pays a small monthly fee to use a personalized travel website. They are paid when people book vacations through their website, and they also benefit when they sign up other people to sell under them.

People get frustrated when they find out just how difficult it is to recruit new people into network marketing. MLM is seen as a tainted business model by many people. However, some MLM superstars are out there. They know the big secret. They know how to sell.

Selling skills translate from one industry to another. People who succeed with MLM are generally very talented salespeople. They know how to close a sale face to face, and they know how to close a sale on the web. The ability to market to people is not a talent people are born with. It is a skill that is learned, practiced, and perfected.

Once a person knows how to market the sky is the limit. They are able to sell on the internet, face to face, and they can even sell through affiliate marketing, getting paid a commission by selling other people’s products.

Once a person is able to sell effectively, all sorts of opportunities become available. No longer are they bound to only network marketing opportunities.

People need to look past the company, and learn solid marketing skills that they can use for the rest of their lives.

Before you jump into bed with ANY company, get the full scoop on World Ventures. The whole story is in our World Ventures Review at OnlineMLMSecrets.com.
